Reiki treatments at our Pai healing centre generally last around one hour. They begin with a brief introduction to Reiki as well as a discussion on any issues the client wishes to highlight in advance.
This is followed by an intuitive card reading to pinpoint areas in the client's life that may be worthy of attention.
We then move into the Reiki treatment itself which usually lasts around 45 minutes.
The treatment will clear any energetic blocks that the client is ready to release at that time. This is typically felt as a sense of warmth, tingling or muscle twitching that may shift from place to place around the body.
Blocks may also be lifted through emotional release such as laughing or crying. Clients usually feel a sense of deep relaxation or lightness at the end of the treatment. There is ample time for feedback on any insights gained during the session.
We also offer integrated Reiki and Craniosacral treatments which can be particularly effective at shifting energy blocked within the physical body. Please follow this link for further information on Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy.
Reiki energy works at the quantum level which transcends time and space. This means that Reiki treatments can also be conducted at a distance allowing clients to benefit from a session wherever they are based in the world.
Sessions are conducted over 90 minutes at an agreed time with an initial face to face consultation over Skype.
We would then conduct the healing session as if the client were present in the healing centre - during this time, the client needs merely to lie down and relax in their own space. Afterwards we would meet again on Skype to discuss the results of the session.

Reiki courses at our Pai healing centre are taught at two Levels: Level 1 for self-healing, and Level 2 for healing others. Level 1 is usually taught over 1 full day, while level 2 takes 1-2 days depending on the size of the group. We aim to allow plenty of time for participants to relax and enjoy the other attractions of Pai!
The course is largely experiential with a focus on guided meditations to help participants activate and integrate key aspects of the energy, which is received through an 'attunement' process.
Course participants receive instruction on:
There is also plenty of time for 'hands-on' practice.
One focus of the course is an exploration of the nature of 'multi-dimensionality'. This includes an overview of recent scientific research which supports key principles behind Reiki and energetics.
Those with a 'left-brain', analytical approach often find this helpful for calming the questioning mind and relaxing into meditation.
When the mind is soothed, participants often feel a sense of expansion and connection during the meditations as they come to appreciate the fullness of their spiritual being.
For many, this is an important first step in aligning the analytical strengths of the brain with the intuitive power of the heart.
At the end of the course, participants receive a comprehensive manual with further reading and meditation texts.
