What is Reiki?
Reiki, or 'universal life force energy', is an ancient art of hands-on healing. Reiki practitioners are able to channel universal healing energy to release blockages within the energy system that may result in physical, mental or emotional problems. For many, Reiki provides a therapeutic antidote to the stresses and strains of modern life.The energy also helps to clear and strengthen the channel between head and heart, enabling individuals to develop a stronger connection with their inner guidance and sense of intuition. It can help those who feel somehow 'stuck' in their life or indecisive about which path to follow.
The form of Reiki that we practice is known as 'Shamballa' - a high vibration of universal energy, which has been available for healing since 1998. With its multi-dimensional qualities, Shamballa can be seen as an 'update' to earlier forms of Reiki such as Usui and Karuna.
While closely linked with spiritual development, Reiki and Shamballa are not connected with any specific religion or belief system. However, as spirituality and science come closer together, the energetic principles behind Reiki are increasingly being supported by scientists who propose the existence of a unified energy field that informs everything in our experience. It is through our interaction with this field that healing takes place.
Our "Shamballa Reiki Centre" in Pai
Our "Shamballa Reiki Centre" is located in Pai, a beautiful mountain town, situated in the north of Thailand. It is within easy reach of Chiang Mai, Thailand's second largest city, and Mae Hong Son, the provincial capital.Our centre comprises a Reiki studio and secluded garden with a sun-deck, lotus pond, flowers and bamboo. It is the perfect setting for Reiki treatments and courses in the beautiful countryside around Chiang Mai.
